Her performances in Spamalot's initial West End production, the Regent's Park revival of Into the Woods and The Wizard of Oz (as the Wicked Witch of the West) are some of her most memorable. In recognition of her work, she has been nominated for three Olivier Awards. In the year 2015, she was a part of Game of Thrones' fifth series as Septa Unella. In addition she played the lead role of Septa Unella in the film version of Les Miserables. Waddingham has been nominated for the Golden Globe Award.
