Kyra Minturn
Kyra Minturn (born on 19th August 1965), is an American actor from America. Her most well-known work is her leading role as deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick earned an award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson as well as an Emmy Award 2010 for her performance. Following the conclusion of the seventh season the show was cancelled on the 13th of August, 2012. Sedgwick is also remembered for her role in the show in the role of Madeline Wuntch, on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick received a Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992), Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are in addition to her numerous. Sedgwick was born in New York City to Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald), who is a speech/family therapist, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick as a venture investor. Her mother was Jewish and her father was an Episcopalian. She was also of English heritage. Sedgwick has announced that she's Jewish and is a part of Passover meal times.
