Lara Logan

 Lara Logan was born 29 March 1971. She is a South African journalist, radio and television journalist. She was an CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan said that her inaccurate and politcally biased report on the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the most glaring error of my entire decade of watching." She joined Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media group) in the year 2019. In January 2020, she joined Fox Nation (a subscription streaming service owned by Fox News). In March 2022, she claimed she was "dumped" by the company. Logan was a news reporter for the Sunday Tribune in Durban during her studies (1988-1989) and later for the city's Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she was hired by Reuters Television Africa as a senior production producer. After four years, she moved into freelance journalism and landed assignments as a reporter, editor/producer with ITN and Fox/SKY, CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC, and the European Broadcasting Union. She worked for CNN covering events like the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania, the conflict in Northern Ireland, and the Kosovo war.
